Pengaruh model CORE berbantuan mind mapping terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) yang dipadukan dengan teknik mind mapping terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan post-test only control group. Sampel terdiri atas dua kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 166 Jakarta yang ditentukan melalui teknik cluster random sampling, yaitu kelas VIII D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa enam soal uraian materi Statistika yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan perhitungan Cohen’s d untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran CORE berbantuan mind mapping memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dengan kontribusi efektivitas sebesar 76% dalam kategori sedang.
