Analisis Kebutuhan Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Fisika Berbasis STEM-Etnosains Pada Materi Pemanasan Global di SMA

Secara ideal, pembelajaran fisika di tingkat SMA didukung oleh bahan ajar yang kontekstual, menarik, serta mampu menunjang pembelajaran mandiri peserta didik. Namun, pada kenyataannya, bahan ajar yang digunakan di sekolah belum sepenuhnya memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut, khususnya pada materi pemanasan global yang bersifat kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan peserta didik terhadap pengembangan bahan ajar fisika berbasis STEM-etnosains pada materi pemanasan global di tingkat SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 80 peserta didik SMA Negeri 11 Samarinda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket analisis kebutuhan berbentuk skala Guttman yang terdiri atas delapan butir pertanyaan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 90% peserta didik telah memiliki buku pegangan fisika, tetapi 90% masih membutuhkan sumber belajar tambahan. Selain itu, 95% peserta didik membutuhkan bahan ajar mandiri dan 85% tertarik terhadap bahan ajar berbasis STEM-etnosains. Namun, 40% peserta didik masih mengalami kesulitan memahami materi pemanasan global. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar tersebut sangat diperlukan.
