Kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa SMA dalam menyelesaikan masalah real-life

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kecenderungan siswa untuk berfokus pada penyelesaian prosedural tanpa melakukan peninjauan kembali terhadap proses berpikirnya, terutama dalam memecahkan masalah real-life. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa pada materi statistika serta mengidentifikasi hambatan yang dialami selama proses tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan melibatkan 36 siswa dari salah satu kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Kartasura. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis dan wawancara. Enam siswa dipilih secara purposive berdasarkan kategori kemampuan matematis, yaitu tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi mampu memenuhi seluruh indikator berpikir reflektif, sedangkan siswa dengan kemampuan sedang dan rendah hanya memenuhi sebagian indikator. Hambatan yang ditemukan meliputi kesulitan dalam memahami masalah kontekstual, keterbatasan dalam memantau proses penyelesaian, serta kurang optimalnya kemampuan refleksi dan interpretasi. Dengan demikian, kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa menunjukkan adanya perbedaan sekaligus hambatan pada setiap tingkat kemampuan matematis.
