Focus and Scope
Journal Focus
Jurnal Literasi Pendidikan Fisika (JLPF) is devoted to short communications, full-length research papers, and feature articles presenting research studies or literature reviews related to Physics and Physics Education, particularly research conducted through learning, teaching, or scientific investigation by educators and students.
JLPF welcomes original and relevant manuscripts that contribute to the development of physics education, scientific literacy, physics learning, and applied research related to physics, education, environment, energy, and technology.
Scope of the Journal
1. Innovation in Physics Education
Research on innovative models, strategies, approaches, learning technologies, digital platforms, instructional methods, and innovative media for teaching and learning physics.
2. Development of Physics Teaching Materials
Research and development of physics teaching materials based on scientific, contextual, project-based, and problem-based approaches, including the integration of local and global issues into physics learning.
3. Scientific Research and Physics Experiments
Laboratory and field experiments, development and evaluation of experimental instruments, and applied research in physics and related fields, including environment, energy, and technology.
4. Science Education and Literacy
Research addressing scientific literacy, physics literacy, 21st-century skills, student motivation and interest, conceptual understanding, and the application of scientific knowledge in everyday life and the environment.
5. Evaluation and Standardization of Physics Education
Research examining educational policies, laboratory standards, instructional equipment, guidance and counseling in physics education, and student and teacher perceptions of physics teaching and learning methods.
Types of Manuscripts
JLPF welcomes the following types of scholarly contributions:
- Full-length research papers presenting original empirical research.
- Short communications reporting concise and significant research findings.
- Literature review articles providing critical and systematic analysis of relevant research and developments.
- Feature articles addressing significant issues and developments relevant to Physics and Physics Education.
Scope Consideration
Manuscripts must demonstrate a clear and substantive connection to Physics, Physics Education, science education, or the related areas described above. Manuscripts that fall outside the journal's focus and scope may be rejected during the initial editorial screening.
