Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The manuscript fits the scope of Yupa: Historical Studies Journal.
• The manuscript has a clear historical focus, research problem, source base, and scholarly contribution.
• The manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
• The manuscript follows the Yupa manuscript template.
• The abstract is written in English, in one paragraph, and does not exceed 200 words.
• The manuscript includes 3–5 keywords in English.
• The manuscript includes Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
• The method/source base and analytical approach are clearly explained.
• The discussion is analytical and evidence-based, not merely descriptive.
• All in-text citations appear in the reference list, and all references are cited in the manuscript.
• References follow APA Style 7th edition.
• Tables and figures, if any, are editable, properly captioned, credited, and discussed in the text.
• Funding, conflict of interest, ethics/consent, and AI use have been disclosed where relevant.
• The manuscript is original and does not contain plagiarism, fabricated sources, or fabricated evidence.
• The author agrees that the manuscript may undergo editorial screening and double-blind peer review, including anonymization by the editorial team.
