Analisis kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan analitik dalam memecahkan masalah perbandingan

Pendidikan matematika di sekolah bertujuan tidak hanya untuk mengajarkan rumus, tetapi juga untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, seperti berpikir kreatif dan analitik. Keterampilan ini sangat penting dalam memecahkan masalah matematika, khususnya pada materi perbandingan yang diajarkan di kelas VII Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana peserta didik dapat mengaplikasikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan analitik dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal perbandingan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan tiga peserta didik kelas VII SMP yang dipilih berdasarkan kemampuan matematika menengah hingga tinggi. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi hasil kerja siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing peserta didik menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir analitik dan kreatif yang berbeda dalam menyelesaikan masalah perbandingan. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pengembangan kedua keterampilan tersebut dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah.
