Studi Deskriptif Fundamental Motor Skills: Analisis Keterampilan Lokomotor Siswa Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Baringin Kabupaten Tanah Datar

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara komprehensif profil keterampilan lokomotor siswa laki-laki SD di Kecamatan Baringin. Keterampilan lokomotor merupakan fondasi penting dalam partisipasi aktivitas fisik, sehingga asesmennya menjadi krusial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa laki-laki dengan rentang usia 7 hingga 9 tahun. Instrumen utama yang digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan lokomotor subjek adalah Test of Gross Motor Development Second Edition (TGMD-2). Data hasil pengukuran kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif untuk mendapatkan distribusi frekuensi dan persentase klasifikasi tingkat kemampuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa berada pada kategori kemampuan lokomotor yang rendah. Klasifikasi tertinggi yang dapat dicapai hanya berkisar pada kategori "rata-rata" (standar skor 8-12), yang hanya dicapai oleh 2 siswa (4%). Sebagian kecil siswa berada pada klasifikasi "di bawah rata-rata" (standar skor 6–7) sebanyak 8 siswa (16%). Persentase tertinggi ditemukan pada klasifikasi "buruk" (standar skor 4–5) sebanyak 29 siswa (58%). Sementara itu, 11 siswa (22%) berada pada klasifikasi terendah, yaitu "sangat buruk" (standar skor 1–3). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tingkat keterampilan lokomotor siswa laki-laki SD di Kecamatan Baringin secara umum berada pada kategori rendah dan membutuhkan intervensi program pembelajaran PJOK yang lebih terstruktur dan berfokus pada pengembangan FMS.
