Adjektiva: Educational Languages and Literature Studies (e-ISSN 2622-6022) is an open-access journal, published twice a year in April and October, managed by the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Mulawarman. Adjektiva: Educational Languages and Literature Studies accepts research articles related to language, literature, and language and literature education, whose data are from the local languages in Indonesia, Indonesian languages, and foreign languages.

About the Journal

Adjektiva: Educational Languages and Literature Studies is an open-access journal published twice a year (April and October) by the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Mulawarman. This journal accepts research articles related to language, literature, and language and literature education, with research data derived from local languages in Indonesia, the Indonesian language, and foreign languages.

Reviewer Qualifications

We are seeking reviewers who meet the following qualifications:
• Hold at least a Master’s/Magister degree (M.Pd./M.A./M.Ed./M.Sc.) in the fields of language, literature, or language and literature education.
• Have relevant scientific publications in their field.
• Have experience in reviewing scholarly articles (preferred).
• Are committed to conducting objective, professional, and timely reviews.

The article “Analisis Wacana Kritis Model Teun A. Van Dijk terhadap Kasus Korupsi pada Media Online detik.News” examines the use of language in news coverage of corruption cases on detik.News through Teun A. Van Dijk’s critical discourse analysis model, focusing on the strategies employed to shape public opinion. “Analisis Semiotik Riffaterre pada Puisi ‘Malinau’ Karya Korrie Layun Rampan” analyzes the implicit meanings within the poem Malinau using Riffaterre’s semiotic approach, emphasizing heuristic, hermeneutic, and indirect meaning analyses. “Telaah Butir Soal Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) Bahasa Indonesia Semester Ganjil MTs Negeri 2 Boyolali Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024” evaluates the quality of Bahasa Indonesia final semester exam questions by assessing validity, reliability, differentiation power, and difficulty level to determine their effectiveness in measuring students’ competencies. “Pengaruh Motivasi Belajar Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Teks Eksposisi Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Balikpapan Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023” investigates the relationship between learning motivation and academic performance in expository texts, demonstrating that motivation significantly influences students’ comprehension. “Analisis Nilai Budaya Pada Naskah Memanda Raja Sultan Aji Khalifah Umar Panglima Kumbang” explores cultural values embedded in this literary work, highlighting moral, social, and traditional aspects reflected within the text.
