The first article presents literature-based literacy strategies for developing intercultural values in children, emphasizing empathy, tolerance, and cross-cultural understanding. The second article investigates students’ perceptions of reading English economic texts, identifying challenges and proposing pedagogical implications for English for Specific Purposes (ESP) learning. The third article analyzes Marxist values in Ahmad Tohari’s novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk, highlighting issues of social inequality, alienation, and ideological domination. The fourth article examines the use of frame markers, transitions, and sequence markers in students’ academic writing, offering insights into linguistic coherence and cohesion in academic discourse. The final article provides a phenomenological exploration of students’ perceptions and experiences regarding the Indonesian Language Proficiency Test (UKBI), revealing cognitive and emotional dimensions of language competence assessment. Collectively, these studies advance critical discussions in language education, literary studies, and linguistic analysis within diverse educational contexts.
