Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- Authors agree to participate in the complete editorial process until a final decision is reached. Should authors wish to withdraw their submission, they must formally notify the editor via email prior to the commencement of the peer-review stage
- Submissions must be in MS Word format (max. 15 pages) on A4 paper with 3 cm (Left) and 2.54 cm (Top, Right, Bottom) margins. Use 1.15 line spacing, justified alignment, and 0.5 cm paragraph indentation. Additional files should be uploaded as supplementary.
- The text is written in Garamond 11 pt font; use italics for foreign terms/words instead of underscores (except for URLs); and all illustrations, figures, and tables must be placed within the text at the appropriate point, not at the end of the manuscript.
- Authors must use Mendeley as their reference manager. Detailed guidelines for using Mendeley are provided in the journal's template. Failure to comply with these referencing standards may result in the immediate rejection of the manuscript
- Authors are strictly bound by our Plagiarism Policy; therefore, careful consideration must be taken before submission. If JSEL identifies that an article has been or is published elsewhere, we will retract the manuscript in accordance with COPE guidelines on article retraction and formally notify the author.
