Author Guidelines
Manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Science Education Literacy (JSEL) must be written in high-quality academic English. Submissions should be prepared in MS Word format (.doc or .docx) on A4 paper ($21~\text{cm} \times 29.7~\text{cm}$). The document must use mirror margins set at 3 cm (Left) and 2.54 cm (Top, Right, and Bottom), with 1.15 line spacing and justified alignment. The main text should be formatted using Garamond 11 pt font, and the total length of the manuscript must not exceed 15 pages.
Manuscript Structure
The article title should be clear, brief, and informative, written in Garamond 14 pt, bold, and sentence case. Authors must provide their complete names without academic titles, followed by affiliated institutions and a unique correspondence email for the corresponding author.
The abstract must be presented on a separate page as a single, continuous paragraph ranging from 150 to 250 words. It must concisely summarize research objectives, methodology, core findings, novelty, and implications. Keywords consisting of 3 to 5 words or phrases must be provided in alphabetical order.
The Introduction should define the research problem, provide a robust background, and establish a gap analysis. The use of first-person pronouns (e.g., "I," "We," or "Our") is strictly prohibited. The Research Method section must be transparent and comprehensive, detailing the research design, population, sampling, and data analysis techniques to ensure replicability.
Results and Discussion should be integrated, presenting findings clearly through descriptive text, tables, or figures. Discussion must focus on connecting analyzed data to research objectives while situating findings within a broader theoretical context and highlighting novelty. The Conclusion should address research objectives directly with scientific justification and suggest directions for future research.
Ethical Declarations and References
Authors must include a brief paragraph specifying individual Author Contributions using the standardized format. Any personal or financial interests must be disclosed in the Conflicts of Interest section; if none exist, authors must state: "The authors declare no conflict of interest".
The bibliography must contain at least 25 sources, with 80% being primary literature from the last 10 years. All entries must strictly follow the Vancouver citation style and include DOIs or active URLs. Authors are required to use a reference manager such as Mendeley or Zotero.
