Kajian Etnomatematika pada Pola Lantai Tari Gandrung sebagai Representasi Geometri Transformasi

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji unsur-unsur etnomatematika yang terkandung dalam pola lantai Tari Gandrung sebagai representasi dari konsep geometri transformasi. Tari Gandrung, sebagai warisan budaya Banyuwangi, tidak hanya memiliki nilai estetika dan simbolik, tetapi juga memuat konsep matematika yang terwujud dalam pola gerak penari di atas panggung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode observasi non-partisipatif terhadap dokumentasi video dan foto pertunjukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola lantai dalam tari gandrung mengandung unsur: 1) simetri refleksi, terlihat dari formasi penari yang mencerminkan kesetangkupan gerakan kiri dan kanan. 2) translasi, tercermin pada perpindahan seragam penari dalam arah tertentu tanpa perubahan orientasi. 3) rotasi, ditunjukkan melalui gerakan memutar kelompok penari dalam pola melingkar. 4) serta adanya pengulangan ritmis dan pola geometris yang konsisten sepanjang pertunjukan. Pola-pola tersebut mencerminkan praktik matematika kontekstual dalam budaya lokal, menunjukkan bahwa unsur matematika telah terintegrasi secara alami dalam seni pertunjukan tradisional. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam pelestarian budaya melalui pendekatan ilmiah serta menjadi referensi inovatif dalam pembelajaran matematika kontekstual di sekolah.
