The Jurnal Ilmiah BioSmart is registered number ISSN 2356-1823 (print) and 2775-927X (online) is a scientific journal published by Biology Education Departement, Faculty of Teacher Training and Learning, Mulawarman university, Indonesia. The journal registered in the CrossRef system with Digital Object Identifier (DOI) 10.03782/jibs.

The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of Biology and Biology Education. Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Initial Review processes by the Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to the peer reviewer and will go to the next selection by Double-Blind Preview Process. After that, the articles will be returned to the authors to revise. These processes take a month for a maximum time. In each manuscript, the peer reviewer will be rated from the substantial and technical aspects. The final decision of articles acceptance will be made by Editors according to the Reviewer's comments. Peer reviewer that collaboration with Jurnal Ilmiah BioSmart is the experts in the Biology and Biology Education area and issues around it.

The Jurnal Ilmiah BioSmart particularly focuses on the main problems in the development of the sciences of Biology, Biology Education and also any sciences that cover sciences of it. Please read these guidelines carefully. Authors who want to submit their manuscript to the editorial office of the Jurnal Ilmiah BioSmart should obey the writing guidelines. If the manuscript submitted is not appropriate with the guidelines or written in a different format, it will BE REJECTED by the editors before further reviewed. The editors will only accept the manuscripts which meet the assigned format.
