Plagiarism Screening

To check plagiarism, the editorial board of Jurnal Ilmu Manajemen dan Pendidikan will screen plagiarism manually (offline and online database) on the manuscript's Title, Abstract, and Body Text using Turnitin plagiarism detection software. If plagiarism is indicated, the editorial board will reject the manuscript immediately.

The editorial board does not tolerate any form of plagiarism and self-plagiarism. Authors must ensure that they have written a completely original work, and if the author has used the work or words of others, this has been appropriately cited or quoted. An author should not generally publish a manuscript describing the same research in multiple journals or primary publications. Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously constitutes unethical and unacceptable publishing behavior. Proper acknowledgment of the work of others should always be given. Authors should cite influential publications to determine the nature of the reported work.

The editorial board will check the manuscript twice: when it is submitted and when it is published (after going through the review process). The tolerance limit for manuscript plagiarism is 20% at the time of submission and 15% at the time of publication.
