Analisis Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Perempuan: Sebuah Studi Kualitatif

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepemimpinan kepala sekolah perempuan di salah satu SMP Negeri di Mimika berdasarkan enam indikator, yaitu the mother (keibuan); the pet (kesayangan/kekeluargaan); the seductress (penyemangat); the iron maiden (wanita besi/tegas); pendekatan mengajak bawahan untuk ikut maju berkembang dalam pemikiran; dan pemimpin ikut terjun melaksanakan tugas agar mencapai tujuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskripsi kualitatif rancangan studi kasus. Objek penelitiannya adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru, ketua komite, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumen. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan pengecekan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data dengan teknik kredibilitas melalui triangulasi sumber, teknik, waktu, serta meningkatkan kecermatan penelitian. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dalam kepemimpinannya, kepala sekolah perempuan mempunyai enam indikator kepemimpinan seorang perempuan dalam melakukan tugasnya sebagai kepala sekolah.
