Abstract

Latar belakang masalah yang mendasari penelitian tindakan kelas ini yaitu rendahnya apresiasi cerita siswa kelas IV SD Al Azhar Syifa Budi Samarinda pada muatan pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan apresiasi  cerita kelas IV SD Al Azhar Syifa Budi Samarinda dengan menggunakan media komik dan model pembelajaran role playing tahun pembelajaran 2017-2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Classroom Action Research (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas) yang terdiri dari 4 tahap, meliputi tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan tindakan, tahap observasi dan tahap refleksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 siklus yang terdiri dari 4 pertemuan. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas IV A SD Al Azhar Syifa Budi Samarinda dengan jumlah siswa 19 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan observasi.
