Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Guru di SMA Swasta Al Azhar Medan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kinerja guru dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di SMA Swasta Al Azhar Medan dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMA Swasta Al Azhar Medan. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif. Data diperoleh menggunakan observasi dan angket instrumen penilaian. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Uji Regresi Linear Berganda berbantuan SPSS 22 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SMA Swasta Al Azhar Medan pada variabel kepemimpinan indikator aspek yang paling bagus adalah terdapat pada aspek pengetahuan serta kemampuan berkomunikasi. Penilaian kinerja guru SMA Swasta Al Azhar Medan sudah pada kategori baik, hal itu diperoleh dari beberapa data yang diberikan kelima aspek indikator kepemimpinan dan hanya pada aspek kinerja guru indikator sosial yang mendapati hasil hipotesis, yaitu Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru pada aspek sosial dan dari R square diperoleh 0,260 yang menunjukkan pengaruhnya ada tapi sangat kecil berkisar 26%, Hal ini menunjukkan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah tidak selalu berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru terkhususnya pada aspek sosial hal ini dikarenakan aspek sosial tiap guru sudah terbentuk sendirinya dari berbagai pengalaman hidup para guru dalam melakukan tugas dan tanggung jawab yang diembannya selama ini.
