Abstract

Motivation and learning are two things that influence each other. Motivation itself exists because of two interrelated factors, namely intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Students who have high motivation to learn will be better at receiving lessons and the attitude shown will be more positive in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of video learning motivation on student learning outcomes in class XI SMA Negeri in Samarinda City. This research is quantitative descriptive. The sampling technique is quota sampling with a sample of 156 students. Data collection techniques are questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used was validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test and simple regression test. The results showed the influence of motivation on the learning outcomes of students in class XI SMA Negeri SMA in Samarinda City based on simple regression results obtained 0.011 < 0.05 thus there is an influence between motivation on learning outcomes of students in class XI SMA Negeri in Samarinda City.
