Analysis of community perception facing flood in Gelatik Street, Sungai Pinang Subdistrict, Samarinda City
Abstract
This article is a survey activity carried out to find out data and information about the vulnerability of the community to flood disaster problems and their capacity to reduce the level of risk faced by the community on Jl. Gelatik. Writing this article is done by collecting data obtained from interviews conducted by researchers and producing qualitative descriptive data in the form of written words from interviews that have been carried out. And basically research is collecting analyzed data. In this research, the method used is descriptive. An effective method used to describe a phenomenon that occurs in an area. All data were obtained from community interviews. For example, Jl. Gelatik The occurrence of flooding is caused by the rainy season coming and the influence of the tides of the Karang Mumus River which is on the stretch of road. Based on the results of interviews with several sources, it can be seen that the government's role in tackling floods that often occur on Jl. Gelatik is
by dredging ditches and providing assistance during floods.
