This study aims to promoting student attitudes toward STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) through STEM learning in junior high school student. This type of research is quantitative research. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental study with one group pretest-posttest design. The treatment given is STEM EDP learning on heat and temperature material for 4 x 90 minute, the sample in this study are 31 students from class VII Public Junior High School at Samarinda City. The results showed that the use of STEM learning with the EDP model had an influence on student attitudes. STEM learning with the EDP model has a significant effect on the attitude shown based on the average value of the student attitude results which increased but not too high from 66,26 to 67,26. These results indicate that application STEM to shape student attitudes towards STEM is essential by doing learning more often that supports continuity of the formation of student attitude toward STEM.
