Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi dan retensi siswa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis video Youtube pada siswa kelas V SD Islam AL azhar 47 Samarinda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Tindakan kelas. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V sebanyak 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes retensi belajar IPA. Hasil post-test pada siklus I rata-rata adalah 60, rata-rata siklus II adalah 78, rata-rata siklus III adalah 92 dan hasil retest 89,9. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran video Youtube dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan retensi siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas V Al Khabir SD Islam AL Azhar 47 Samarinda.
