<p>Scope The BEduManagers Journal : Borneo Educational Management and Research Jornal provides those interested in the effective management of the educational process with a broad overview of developments and best practice in the field, with particular reference to how new ideas can be applied in the educational environment and worldwide. Educational management refers to the administration of the <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education">education</a> system in which a group combines human and material resources to supervise, plan, strategies, and implement structures to execute an education system. The education system is an <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ecosystem">ecosystem</a> of professionals in educational institutions, such as government ministries, unions, statutory boards, agencies, and schools. <p style="font-weight: 400;"><em>Evaluation in education programs serves as a tool to monitor and assess the outcomes of existing program efforts. However, a thorough planning is necessary in evaluating such programs. This study employs a literature review approach where relevant literature is selected based on the topic under discussion. The aim is to gather information regarding the design of educational program evaluation. The analysis results indicate that: (1) the involvement of key individuals is crucial in designing educational program evaluations, namely sponsors, </em><em>evaluator, </em><em>clients, participants, stakeholders</em> <em>and audiences, (2) there are five steps in the process of designing educational program evaluations: (a) assessing the context, conducted by the evaluator, (b) collecting observation results, carried out by the evaluator with assistance from stakeholders, (c) involving stakeholders who possess knowledge and play significant roles from the initial stage throughout the evaluation process, (d) outlining the program, where the evaluator conducts a comprehensive review of program documents and relevant sources after interacting with stakeholders, (e) focusing the evaluation, where the evaluator needs to collaborate with the sponsor to prioritize needs to be addressed in the evaluation plan, (3) </em><em>f</em><em>ive steps in designing educational program evaluations (Dina P, et al., 2019): (a) assessing the context, conducted by the evaluator by seeking opinions/views from organizational colleagues or guardians, (b) collecting observation results, by examining, understanding, and investigating the reasons for conducting the program evaluation, (c) involving stakeholders, with the aim of ensuring that the program evaluation is contextually appropriate and aiding in fostering cooperation during the evaluation process, (d) outlining the program, to provide insights, help determine design, and uncover intangible aspects, (e) focusing the evaluation, detailing concrete plans and operationalizing questions to be asked and steps to be taken, as well as assigning tasks to be performed by program evaluation staff</em><em>.</em></p>RositaZurqoniSugeng

<p>Kegiatan analisis ini bertujuan dalam mengekplorasi peran yang dimainkan oleh supervisor kepala sekolah di dalam upaya peningkatan kemampuan profesional guru serta mengidentifikasi strategi efektif yang digunakan dalam proses tersebut. Konteks penelitian didasarkan pada pemahaman bahwa pendidikan berkualitas memerlukan pendidikan yang memiliki kemampuan profesional yang secara baik, dan supervisor kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam memfasilitasi pengembangan kompetensi tersebut. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab dua pertanyaan utama: (1) seberapa besar peran supervisor kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru? (2) Strategi apa saja yang efektif digunakan oleh supervisor kepala sekolah didalam upaya mendukung pengembangan kompetensi guru. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan pendekatan dengan melakukan wawancara secara kualitatif komprehensif terhadap supervisor kepala sekolah dan guru yang menjadi obyek pengamatan. Menganalisis data yang dikumpulkan secara tematik serta diidentifikasikan susunan kalimat dan pokok pikiran terkait peran dan strategi supervisor kepala sekolah dalam upaya peningkatan kemampuan profesional guru. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini akan memberikan wawasan yang lebih mendalam tentang pentingnya peran supervisor kepala sekolah terhadap upaya pembinaan guru dan juga akan memberikan wawasan yang berharga tentang strategi yang efektif dalam mendukung pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru. <p><em><span lang="EN-US">This study aims to determine the improvement of fine motor skills in children aged 5-6 years through meronce activities using loose parts at the Kindergarten in Keledang, Samarinda. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research. Classroom Action Research is research carried out in the classroom using actions to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process in order to obtain better results. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this Classroom Action Research will use qualitative descriptive analysis. The research subjects were students aged 5-6 years at Keledang Kindergarten, Loa Janan Ilir District, Samarinda. To obtain valid results, research techniques are carried out using two cycle steps, and each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Based on the research results, it turns out that activities to improve children's fine motor skills through loose part activities in Keledang Saminda Kindergarten appeared to have increased in the good category in cycle I reaching 61%, while in cycle II it was 83%. The meronce activity using loose parts in group B at the Keledang Kindergarten, Loa Janan Ilir District, Samarinda, is very beneficial for students, so it can be used as a method of playing and learning to improve children's fine motor skills</span></em></p>SinarHeppy LianaLailatul Hidayah

<p><em>This research aims to implement early childhood character education through the congklak game for children aged 5 - 6 years at the Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal 5 Samarinda Seberang kindergarten. The method used in this research is qualitative research. Qualitative research is a research method based on positivism or interpretive philosophy, used to examine the condition of natural objects, where the researcher is the key instrument. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The research subjects in this study were 6 students of Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal 5 Kindergarten. Based on the data obtained from the research results, it shows that the implementation of character education through the congklak game for early childhood at the Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfhal 5 Samarinda Seberang Kindergarten achieved the character of religious, honest, cooperative, disciplined, responsible development according to expectations after going through three assessments according to researcher analysis. Efforts are made by educators to strengthen children's character by using congklak game media through habituation, continuous example by applying congklak play to children by including in the learning plan to play congklak twice a week during the research. This is an effort to make it easier for educators to implement children's character education. <p><em><span lang="EN-US">This research aims to reveal the role of professional ethics and labor law in shaping the motivation and personal excellence of students majoring in Mechanical Engineering at the Bontang College of Industrial Technology (STTI). Professional ethics and labor law have an important role in guiding students to develop high motivation and superior personal character during their studies. This research uses qualitative methods with in-depth interviews and document analysis as data collection techniques. The research respondents were active students majoring in Mechanical Engineering at STTI Bontang. The research results show that understanding professional ethics provides a moral foundation for students to develop positive professional attitudes. Meanwhile, knowledge of labor law provides a better understanding of rights and obligations in the employment context. These two factors positively influence student motivation to achieve academic excellence and self-development. Apart from that, professional ethics and understanding of labor law also contribute to the formation of students' personal character, including integrity, responsibility, and awareness of rights and justice. Students who understand the values of professional ethics and labor law tend to have higher intrinsic motivation and develop superior personalities. This research provides a better understanding of the important role of professional ethics and labor law in guiding students majoring in Mechanical Engineering to achieve superior motivation and personal character. <p><em><span lang="EN-US">In Indonesia, entrepreneurship is one of the important factors that can encourage the economic growth of a nation. Thus, it is important to encourage interest and entrepreneurial abilities among Indonesian people, including STTI Bontang students. This research aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurship education and role models on entrepreneurial intentions for STTI Bontang students. This research uses qualitative research methods using literature in the form of libraries, such as books, notes, theses, journals and several relevant research results. Apart from using literature studies, the author also made personal observations. This research method involves in-depth interviews. The research results show that entrepreneurship education and role models have a positive effect on entrepreneurial intentions for STTI Bontang students. Entrepreneurship education can increase knowledge, skills and entrepreneurial attitudes. The interaction between entrepreneurship education and role models shows a strong synergy, where students who benefit from these two factors show higher entrepreneurial intentions. There are supporting and inhibiting factors. Therefore, efforts need to be made to increase entrepreneurship education and role models for students. This is done to increase the role of role models and increase cooperation with stakeholders.</span></em></p>IriantoSantoso

<p><strong><span lang="IN">In kindergarten, understanding each student's activities is crucial for evaluating their learning and adaptation to the school environment. However, manually tracking individual student activities during class is challenging for kindergarten teachers. This paper proposes using face recognition for kindergarten students as a preliminary step to monitor and record their activities. The process involves converting video footage of students into digital images. Faces are detected using the Viola-Jones method, and feature extraction on the images is performed using the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method. Euclidean Distance is then applied to recognize the students' faces. Our experiments utilize 70 images for training data, consisting of 5 different images from each of the 14 students.
